Crux Canine offers different options for dog owners who are looking for obedience training and behavior modification programs. We have two main types of services: board and train, and one on one lessons.
Board and Train
We focus on our board and train programs as our primary solution for obedience training and behavioral issues. We offer a variety of services to ensure we can find the best solution for you and your dog based on their age, issues you are experiencing, and your overall goal for them.
During our board and train programs, your dog stays with their trainer 24 hours a day. Your dog is immersed in our household environment so we can replicate the real-life situations you are facing. Once your dog's training is complete, we bring your dog home to you! Unique to most board and train programs, we want to bring your dog home to help integrate them back into their new normal daily routine. This is a critical step for us to ensure you and your family understand the communication tools for your dog and how to continue the success. We want you to feel like a dog trainer ready to lead your family before we go!
Owner Education
Once your dog has completed their training program at Crux Canine, we make sure to provide you with the necessary tools to maintain your dog's newly learned manners and behavior. Our trainer will bring your dog back home and show you everything that they have learned during their stay with us. We will work with you to establish structure in your home and ensure that your dog's newly acquired skills continue to be implemented at home.
Throughout the training process, we provide video updates on your dog's progress and what they are learning. This allows you to stay up-to-date on their progress and alleviates the information overload when your dog returns home. You will also have the ability to reference their training in the future whenever needed.
In addition, we welcome you and your family to join us for one training session per week while your dog is staying with us. This provides an opportunity for us to update you on their progress, show their development, and teach you the techniques needed to maintain their training moving forward. Our goal is to ensure that you have the resources and knowledge needed to maintain a happy, healthy, and well-behaved dog for years to come.
Private Lessons
Our one-on-one dog training lessons offer a customized approach to address your dog's specific behavioral issues and training goals. We work with you to develop a training program tailored to your dog's unique needs, meeting at a frequency that best fits their learning, and your schedule. Our experienced trainers will provide personalized instruction to teach obedience commands and correct any problem behaviors your dog may have.
One on One Lessons
