3 Week Board and Train
Dogs 6 months and older
Our three-week board and train program is designed to give your furry friend a comprehensive training experience. It goes beyond our two-week program to offer specialized training in environmental and social situations that will help your dog develop confidence and good behavior in a variety of settings. Through our environmental training, your dog will learn to remain calm and neutral in any situation, as we expose them to new sights, sounds, and environments. With our social training, we will help your dog build positive relationships with other dogs and people, which can reduce anxiety and prevent aggressive behavior. If you have specific requests, we can also customize our program to teach your dog pool safety, agility, obstacles, or anything else you have in mind
Training Objectives
Teach your dog to sit, lay down, stay, recall, and place on command
Train your dog to walk on a leash without pulling, in a calm manner beside you
Teach your dog crate training for sleeping and downtime
Build socialization skills with humans, dogs, and new environments in a neutral manner
Develop manners around food, doors, and furniture.
Address any problematic behaviors such as stealing food, counter surfing, jumping on people, and destructive behavior.
The Stages to Success
Obedience and Behaviors
Teaching essential commands, such as sit, lay down, stay, recall, and place
Walking on a leash without pulling
Settling in their crate
Developing good manners around food, doors, and furniture
Encouraging positive behavior and discouraging negative behavior
Addressing problematic behaviors, such as stealing food, counter surfing, jumping on people, and destructive behavior
Socialization
Building confidence in new environments and around unfamiliar people and dogs
